ALCO recruitment

CEPEHRG is a civil society organization that has, since its inception been implementing HIV and STI programs targeting key populations with support from several donors, including Abidjan –Lagos Corridor Organization (ALCO).

Currently, CEPEHRG is implementing an ALCO project and it is in this vain that CEPEHRG wishes to recruit qualified and resourceful individuals to fill the positions of Project Assistant, Monitoring & Evaluation Officer and Account Officer.

PROJECT ASSISTANT (ELUBO)
The individual will be responsible for designing, guiding and directing the day-to-day project activities as well as providing both administrative and technical support on the field.

SPECIFIC TASK
·         Plan, organize and run the activities in the intervention sites.
·         Supervise, monitor and report on activities of peer educators on the field.
·         Organize meetings with peer educators to assess progress of work, plan strategies to address challenges, review and clean data collected.
·         Liaise with beneficiary groups and relevant stakeholders for inputs in identifying innovative ways of implementing activities.
·         Organize logistical support and maintain stock levels of commodities.
·         Support the capacity building process of all peer educators in data management.
·         Undertake field monitoring visits.
·         Prepare and submit data and narrative reports on the project indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS  
·         A degree/HND in sociology, social work or other related courses.
·         Minimum of two years working experience.


M&E OFFICER
The M&E officer will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the project; assisting the project coordinator in preparing quarterly/annual reports on project progress and will monitor the project activities on a regular basis, developing and maintaining the MIS of the Project and will be responsible for the collection & analysis of different data in relation to the project activities. 

SPECIFIC TASK
·         Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project output;
·         Develop monitoring and impact indicator for the project success
·         Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results;
·         Provide feedback to the project coordinator on project strategies and activities;
·         Suggest strategies to the Project Management for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by identifying bottlenecks in completing project activities and developing plans to minimize or eliminate such bottlenecks; 
·         Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the coordinator. 
·         Support monitoring and evaluation of the effects and impact of the project;


QUALIFICATIONS 
·         A degree/HND in sociology, social work or other related courses.
·         Minimum of two years working experience.

ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Resp­onsib­le for the day-t­o-day manag­ement of the proje­ct accou­nts. Suppo­rt the finan­ce depar­tment to ensur­e that all finan­cial trans­actio­ns are carri­ed out in relat­ion to the donor speci­ficat­ions and the organ­izati­on's polic­ies.
                                     
SPECIFIC TASK
·          Prepa­re the proje­ct's manag­ement and all finan­cial repor­ts
·         Adher­e to finan­cial and accou­nting polic­ies and ensur­es compl­iance­
·          Manag­e tax and all tax relat­ed issue­s
·         Raise vouch­ers and prepa­re check­s for payme­nts in line with the proje­ct budge­ts
·         Keep fixed asset regis­ter and be in charg­e of all issue­s relat­ed to consu­mable­s and commo­ditie­s

QUALIFICATIONS 
·         A degree/HND in accounting or other related courses.
·         Minimum of two years working experience.

The Famous Christian Village in Accra Written by: Prince Kweku This famous ‘village’ with a population of almost two thousand is sandwiched between the University of Ghana, Legon and the Achimota Secondary School.
