‘I Suck Journalist’s Manhood’

Radio listeners in Accra and its environs were shell-shocked last Wednesday when a young man told Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s ‘Ekwanso Dwodwo’ show that he was compelled to suck the manhood of television news anchor, Ignatius Annor over a promise to get him a job.
Ignatius has since denied the allegation in very clear language and said he is neither a homosexual nor a bisexual but rather a straight person who has a girlfriend. He described the allegation as blackmail coming from persons who have something against him.
“He became my friend through Instagram; he even added me. I told him I needed a job and he promised to get me one [at] Metro TV. I believed him. Anytime we talk, he says he wants to meet with me…eventually he gave me directions to meet with him at his house last Tuesday. It was December 3.
“He was very friendly and I respected him a lot because he is a journalist and all that and would help me get a job. But when we entered his room, he said I must do something with him as a prerequisite for the job or I should forget it. He wanted me to have sex with him. I explained to him I am not gay but he said if I can’t then I should forget the job. He then said I should masturbate him and I thought, well, let me sacrifice to do that to get a job, so I did it. He was not releasing and he made me do the nastiest thing in my life. He said I should suck him and that he would give me an additional GH¢100 apart from the job. So I did it and he released.
“Then he dressed up and gave me GH¢10. I felt very guilty, used and cheated. I felt like a fool. I told him how I felt and that I would take him on but he said I should do my worst,” the supposed victim narrated.
The accuser, a graduate of the University of Ghana believed to be in his early twenties, later toldNEWS-ONE that though he regrets the act, he wants to put it in the public domain so the broadcast journalist would not do same to other unsuspecting young men.
He said he may be compelled to report the matter to the police for further investigations.
“I did not video the act but I am speaking the truth and I believe our police are not dumb. If they even take my phone and also take his phone and track from the telecommunications company, they would see that Ignatius and I have been talking so it is a lie when he says he has never seen nor spoken to me before,” he told NEWS-ONE.
Ignatius, however, explained that the fact that someone had his number in his call log did not prove he had any sexual relations with the person.
Though Ignatius had earlier told NEWS-ONE his management had asked him not to comment on the matter, he later categorically denied ever knowing, meeting or even seeing the guy.
