Most people know the legend of Bob Marley and the amazing things he has done to put Reggae and Rastafarianism on the map.  Most people don't realize that an amazing woman stood behind him.
I visited Ghana to learn more about Rita Marley and the importance of the work she is doing to carry on the torch of selflessness, justice, and inspiration that made her husband so popular. Watch Rita Marley's Town or see slide shows with images from Ghana here.

The Famous Christian Village in Accra Written by: Prince Kweku This famous ‘village’ with a population of almost two thousand is sandwiched between the University of Ghana, Legon and the Achimota Secondary School. Its location is four minutes’ drive from the Legon campus. The inhabitants are predominantly Ewes. The young men are mainly golf caddies while the women are engaged in a variety of activities to support their husbands and family. Interestingly, most of the inhabitants come from Adangbe in Togo which is two hours’ drive from the Aflao border.
